Ultimate cornering stability
Groove angle optimised for cornering
We minimised block deformation and strengthened rigidity, maximising cornering stability by designing the wall angle of the outside groove which supports the greatest load when cornering to be 30°.
Wide and sturdy outside blocks
The transverse grooves, which are designed not to be connected to the main grooves, maximise the tyre's contact area and strengthen the block rigidity, ensuring stable cornering even at high speeds.
Tie-bar to increase block support
The transverse grooves are designed to be wider and deeper as they go outward, allowing for balanced performance on both dry and wet surfaces. The part where the transverse groove begins has tie bars that interlock to support the blocks, thereby suppressing block movement and improving cornering performance.
