Nashville, Tenn. (July 14, 2026) — Leading global tire manufacturer Hankook Tire announced today that it has officially established a partnership with Special Olympics Tennessee. Through this initiative, Hankook Tire aims to expand its local community engagement and drive regional sustainable growth in Nashville, where its North American headquarters is located. Special Olympics Tennessee is a non-profit organization centered on providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. As part of the partnership, Hankook Tire will sponsor and participate in Special Olympics Tennessee’s Music City Corporate Challenge.
The Music City Corporate Challenge is an Olympic-style competition that brings together companies from across the Nashville area to compete in a variety of sporting events. The event promotes health, wellness, and camaraderie in the Nashville business community while supporting Special Olympics Tennessee, concluding with the crowning of the Music City Corporate Challenge champions.
“We are excited to partner with Special Olympics Tennessee and participate in the Music City Corporate Challenge,” said Rob Williams, President of Hankook Tire America Corp. “Collaboration is one of Hankook Tire’s core values, and this event provides a meaningful opportunity to connect with other businesses in Nashville, while supporting Special Olympics Tennessee. We look forward to competing alongside our peers, underscoring our commitment to social programs locally, and growing together with the local community.”
As an additional part of its commitment to supporting Special Olympics Tennessee, Hankook Tire will also sponsor the Unified Fore Joy Topgolf ProAm. The fundraising event pairs each team with a Special Olympics Tennessee athlete for a day of golf activities while raising funds which directly support athletes across the state of Tennessee. The event is held at Topgolf Nashville, Topgolf Knoxville, Topgolf Chattanooga and Topgolf Memphis all on September 18.
“Special Olympics Tennessee is thrilled to partner with the Hankook Tire team with both our Music City Corporate Challenge and Unified Fore Joy Topgolf ProAm fundraising events this year,” said Adam Germek, President & CEO, Special Olympics Tennessee. “Hankook Tire has an amazing culture of collaboration and philanthropy, and we are so grateful for Hankook Tire team’s support of Special Olympics athletes across our state.”
