Seoul, Korea, March 19, 2026 — Global leading tire company Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) successfully held the Semifinals of TGL Season 2 on March 17 (local time) at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
As TGL’s inaugural Official Tire Partner and Founding Partner, Hankook Tire has effectively showcased its premium global brand, ‘Hankook.’ By integrating advanced technology into sports entertainment—a core value of "Technological Innovation" championed by Hankook & Company Group Chairman Hyunbum Cho—the company has successfully projected a modern and innovative brand image to fans in 150 countries.
The Semifinals featured a high-stakes doubleheader between the top four teams from the regular season. In the first match, Atlanta Drive GC, the inaugural 2025 champion and No. 3 seed, faced off against the No. 2 seed, Los Angeles Golf Club. Following a closely contested round, Los Angeles Golf Club secured its spot in the Final Series with a 6-4 victory.
Despite trailing 4-3 after the Triples Team Session, Los Angeles Golf Club dominated the Singles Team Session, scoring three unanswered points. Notably, Justin Rose leveled the match on the 10th hole and secured the lead with a crucial birdie on the 14th, while Atlanta Drive GC saw its bid for back-to-back championships come to an end.
The second Semifinal saw the regular-season leader and No. 1 seed, Boston Common Golf, compete against the No. 4 seed, Jupiter Links GC. This matchup, featuring golf icons Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, drew significant global attention as a highly anticipated playoff clash. Following a competitive finish, Jupiter Links GC clinched the final ticket to the Final Series with a 9-5 win.
After a back-and-forth Triples session, Jupiter Links GC took control in the Singles session as Max Homa defeated Rory McIlroy in both of their matchups, leading the club to its first-ever Final Series appearance.
The two winning teams will advance to the Finals, a best-of-three series format scheduled for March 23 and 24 (local time) at SoFi Center. As Season 2 reaches its conclusion, Hankook Tire remains committed to engaging with global audiences through elite sports platforms.
