- TGL Season 2 finishes regular season; top four teams advance to the playoffs

Seoul, Korea, March 9, 2026 — Global leading tire Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) has successfully concluded its inaugural regular season as a partner of TGL Season 2. The regular season wrapped up its final round on March 3 (local time) at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

As TGL’s first-ever Official Tire Partner and Founding Partner, Hankook Tire has leveraged ‘Innovative Technology’ to offer a unique brand experience that blurs the lines between mobility and sports. Throughout Season 2, the company prominently featured its global integrated brand ‘Hankook' across stadium displays, TV commercials, and live broadcast graphics, reinforcing its premium status to fans in 150 countries, including North America.

TGL Season 2 garnered significant attention by featuring six teams comprised of 24 top-tier PGA Tour superstars, including Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. The league’s tech-infused content resonated with audiences, averaging more than a half a million U.S. viewers from the season opener through the eighth match and more globally. This high visibility allowed Hankook Tire to effectively communicate its innovative and dynamic brand identity to a global audience.

After four months of intense competition among the six TGL teams starting last December, the top four teams have secured their spots in the postseason. Boston Common Golf claimed the top seed as the regular-season leader, followed by Los Angeles Golf Club, Atlanta Drive GC, and Jupiter Links GC.

The TGL Season 2 postseason begins with a back-to-back doubleheader for the Semifinals on March 17 (local time). The first semifinal will see No. 3 seed Atlanta Drive GC face off against No. 2 Los Angeles Golf Club. Atlanta Drive, a preseason favorite and Inaugural Season Champion, concluded the regular season with a 3-2 record, while LAGC secured its playoff position with a win in the regular-season match against NYGC. LAGC defeated Atlanta Drive earlier this season (7-3), setting the stage for a fierce showdown with the winner this time advancing to the Finals.

In the second semifinal, No. 4 Jupiter Links GC will clash with No. 1 Boston Common Golf. Both Jupiter Links and Boston Common look to claim their first postseason win, after both teams missed the playoffs last season. A high-stakes battle is the third time ever these teams have faced each other with both previous matches finishing in Overtime.

The two semifinal winners will compete in a best-of-three Finals on March 23 and 24 (local time) at SoFi Center. The ultimate winner will be honored as the SoFi Cup Champion.

Hankook Tire continues to lead in global sports marketing through strategic partnerships with the UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, Borussia Dortmund (Germany), and Al Ittihad (Saudi Arabia). Furthermore, the company continues to prove its technological prowess on the world stage as the official partner for elite motorsport championships, including ABB FIA Formula E World Championship (FE) and the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). Hankook Tire remains committed to expanding its touchpoints with global customers and enhancing its premium brand value through world-class sports and motorsport platforms.
