- Slow sectors and high-speed parts are a challenge for man and machine

Klettwitz/Germany, June 17th, 2011 - This weekend, the DTM is racing for the 13th time at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz, that was opened in 1999. At the 3.478 kilometres long track, one of twelve different track lay-outs, cars are running counter-clockwise. High-speed sections and slower parts in the infield are alternating. Therefore, drivers and teams have to find the right balance between top speed and downforce. The fine asphalt provides little potential in terms of grip - here, there is maximum demand on the Hankook tyres and the brakes. Fans can enjoy pure motorsport at the EuroSpeedway. From the main grandstrand, they can overlook the entire track.

Hankook presents Germany’s latest race circuit in a 3D animation. A voice-over in German and English provides additional information about the EuroSpeedway Lausitz.
