Frankfurt/ Germany , September 11 2007 .
Following a successful showing in 2005, Hankook Tire, as one of the fastest growing tyre manufacturers in Europe, is participating as an exhibitor at the International Car Exhibition 2007 (IAA) in Frankfurt am Main , Germany . In addition to car manufacturers, there are especially suppliers such as Hankook Tire offering innovative products which are also affordable on an average income. One example here is a new UHP-product, which will - at the fair in Frankfurt - be shown to the public for the first time to be launched in Europe within spring 2008.

Exclusive IAA-Premiere: Hankook Ventus V12 evo
The concept of Hankook’s new ultra-high-performance tyre focuses on tuning-oriented enthusiasts, consumers, who enjoy fast but controllable driving (under secure circumstances) and drivers of sports sedans. Therefore the tread compound of the V12 evo has been developed especially to increase traction and braking under wet and dry circumstances.

Its characteristic design containing 3-dimensional blocks not only appears stylish and trendy, it also distributes even ground contact pressure for optimal handling and braking. The solid center rib block enhances braking performance and delivers steering response also under high speed for excellent handling. Wide linear circumferential grooves together with an aggressive Y-shape pattern ensure effective water drainage for safe driving on wet roads.

The V12 evo will be sold in a wide range of more than 40 dimensions from spring 2008 in Europe . Size range will cover a variety of interesting tuning sizes from 185/55 R 15 82V to 275/30 ZR 19 96Y, most of them as extra-load versions.

From Europe to Europe: Environmental friendly technologies from Hankook Tire
The focus of the world’s biggest fair for cars and car accessories will broaden this year to include future energy saving technologies under the slogan “See, what’s driving the future”. The company therefore showcases, beside others, its Optimo K715, the Hankook Tire’s very first European-made environmental friendly tyre. It has already been tested by the independent German consumer-protection organisation Stiftung Warentest (issue 03/2007) with the best overall ranking “good”. According to Stiftung Warentest, the Optimo K715 contains also the lowest amount of harmful ingredients of all 29 tested tyre makes and already today meets future EU-regulations. Due to its measured low rolling resistance it considerably saves fuel.

Technology-driven partnership: Competence in all categories
For all visitors to the booth, Hankook Tire additionally has a special portion of eye-candy in store. In cooperation with the tyre-manufacturer’s technology partner Hamann Motorsport, various upgrade possibilities for the current car generation will be presented. The spectacular line-up includes nearly all available car categories on more than 370 square meters, ranging from a cute Mini, BMW 3- and 6-Series Sports-Coupes, SUVs like BMW X5, up to models belonging to the current Ferrari and Lamborghini series. “With our very complete tyre-line-up we not only cover a wide spectrum of cars, we also provide excellent products in each category”, explains Seung-Do Jin, Hankook Tire’s COO for Europe . He adds: “From the highly eco-friendly Optimo K715, the popular top all-season tyre Centum H720 and our Runflat and wintertyre-range to the high end flagship S1 evo, all our tires are already of superior quality. They have been tested and awarded top grades in independent tests by many renowned automotive magazines. Our new plant in Hungary underlines that we’re constantly striving towards offering premium products for premium markets like Europe .”
