  • An all-season tire for SUVs with optimum performance on both on and off-roads
  • Providing a comfortable ride and excellent mileage on-road and strong driving power off-road

Seoul, Korea, 28 August 2019 – Global premium tire manufacturer Hankook Tire will launch its new tire for SUVs, the “Dynapro AT2” on September 1.

The Dynapro AT2 is a tire for on and off-road SUVs that can post optimal performance in all road conditions. It is characterized by quietness and a comfortable ride on-road and a powerful drive on the off-road.

Due to noise and vibration reduction design, quite driving is made possible on-road. The side of the block is designed in a cascading style, naturally emitting road noise through the grooves at the end of the floor surface. The rubber block chain system, which optimizes the movement of the blocks, also offers a comfortable ride when driving.

The off-road driving performance is also enhanced with organically placed floor block patterns and optimized block’s designs at the end and the side. With such features, it provides an excellent driving power not only on off-roads but also in snow. It also improved mileage performance by applying a special carbon black compound with low rolling resistance.

Seen from such technological developments, Hankook Tire is making strenuous efforts in research and development and in securing innovation technologies to strengthen its position as a leading global leading tire company in the rapidly changing business environment. It is developing global top tier technology at its main research facility, the “Hankook Technodome” and its winter tire test site “Techno Trac”, and is continuing its strategic partnership with global premium car brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi and Porsche, demonstrating world's top-class technology and brand value to lead the automotive industry.
