Hankook's seriesn of successes in tyre tests continues
- Hankook RA08 is rated "very good" by promibil
Neu-Isenburg, 18th May 2006. Following on from Hankook’s
successful test results for its car tyres, the Hankook RA08
has now also been awarded the rating “very good” in the
latest test conducted by promobil, the camping and
caravanning journal. The results of its summer tyre tests for
camper vans are published in the June issue of the magazine.
The Hankook RA 08 achieved second place among the six
tested camper van or light truck tyres and represents a continuation of the series of successes notched up by Hankook in this year’s tyre tests.
“Well-balanced at high performance levels, reliable steerability up to the grip limit. Very good aquaplaning limitation. Highly durable, deep tread” is how the testers at promobil summed up the 215/75 R 16 C dimensioned Hankook RA 08 tyre. Even during tests in the wet, the Hankook tyre performed well, but it was its characteristics in dry road conditions that made the tyre so well-balanced, and thus successful. Top scores were achieved in the aquaplaning test (longitudinal and transverse) as well as with respect to external noise. Its price tag of 110 euros also puts the Hankook RA 08 in second position – starting with the least expensive product.
