Mr. Seung Hwa Suh is Vice Chairman & CEO of Hankook Tire.

Having dedicated his entire 42-year career to Hankook Tire, Mr. Suh has contributed greatly to the growth of the company since joining the company as an entry-level employee in 1973.

As Vice Chairman & CEO, Mr. Suh firmly bases his management philosophy on two fundamental values: providing customers with the highest quality of products and services, and enhancing unity among employees. Through these values, he has been able to guide the company through a variety of challenges to establish Hankook Tire as one of the most advanced and ambitious tire companies in the world.

Since 2007, Mr. Suh has served as CEO of Hankook Tire. During this time, he has devoted himself to dramatically increasing the company’s global sales and operating profit by enhancing global competitiveness. Furthermore, he has consistently enhanced the company’s brand value by securing successive original equipment tire supply contracts with major premium automakers, as well as by establishing seven large-scale global production bases in four countries, including Korea, China, Hungary and Indonesia. Mr. Suh has been a key figure behind the company’s innovative distribution channel strategy, which has seen a shift from wholesale to a greater focus on profitable retail partnerships. With his long experience in management posts in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and elsewhere, Mr. Suh has played a significant role in the globalization of Hankook Tire’s business operations, guiding the company to its position as a global leading tire company.

Mr. Cho joined Hankook in 1997, and began serving as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer in 2006 and was named Chief Operating Officer of the Korea Regional Headquarters in 2008. He became the President & CEO of Hankook Worldwide in 2012, and currently acts as the Chief Marketing Officer of Hankook as well.

As chief operating officer of the Korea Regional Headquarters, he steadily increased the Korean market share of Hankook domestically and has established the company as the top tire supplier in the country. During his term as the chief marketing officer, he signed agreements to supply original equipment tires to major automobile companies such as Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, GM, and Ford.

After joining Hankook in 1978, Mr. Park served in several important positions in the operations and marketing divisions, and since 2011 has served as the chief operating officer of the Korea Regional Headquarters.

He also successfully launched T’ station, which is Hankook’s distribution channel, to promote the company’s premium total tire service to customers, and helped position Hankook through effective marketing programs.

Mr. Lee served as a director of Hankook’s Saudi Arabia and France operations, and has played a critical role in establishing market strategies for the global headquarters. After serving as the chief operating officer of the U.S. Headquarters, he is now serving as the chief operating officer of the China Regional Headquarters.

During his role as chief operating officer in the America Regional Headquarters, he played a major part in enhancing the brand image and improving sales of Hankook. In his current position in China, he is expanding the distribution network, augmenting the production base, and burnishing Hankook’s reputation.

Mr. Song joined Hankook’s Daejeon plant in 1980, and since then, has worked at company’s strategic production bases in Jiaxing and Jiangsu. He is currently the executive vice president in charge of the Product and Engineering Division.

Mr. Cho is the current president of Hankook, a position he has held since 2012. He joined the company in 1998 and has held a variety of positions, including Head of the Marketing Division.

While serving as the chief marketing officer in 2004, Mr. Cho established an innovative brand strategy and invested in new markets. During his term as the chief corporate management officer in 2006, he contributed immensely to transforming the Organization and in achieving financial success to strengthen the global Organization. He also actively expanded overseas production lines and initiated the construction of new R&D center to reinforce technological capabilities, creating additional impetus for Hankook to grow.
